Domestic and international cooperation

The Textile Research Institute engages in a broad-scale cooperation with domestic and foreign scientific and R&D units in terms of both, bilateral relations and network cooperation, as well as within the framework of domestic and international research consortiums.

Scientific networks and domestic research consortiums:

  1. PRO HUMANO TEX Advanced Technologies Centre Consortium coordinated by the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design of the Technical University of Lodz.
  2. Polish Technology Platform for Textile Industry – coordinated by the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design of the Technical University of Lodz.
  3. ‘New Materials Network – NMN’ – coordinated by the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology.
  4. ‘Recykling Materia│ów’ 3 RNET (3 RNET Recycling of Materials) - set up on the initiative of the Institute of Materials Science and Applied Mechanics of Wroclaw University of Technology.
  5. INTRANANOTEX ‘Nanotechnologie we w│ókiennictwie’ (Nanotechnologies in the the textile industry) – the Scientific Network coordinated by the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design of the Technical University of Lodz.
  6. Inter – Regional Cooperative Research Network on Cotton for the Mediterranean and Middle East Regions.

The Textile Research Institute is a member of the European Network of Textile Research Organisations – TEXTRANET as well as the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology - ÖKO-TEX.
